PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS 2015

 

     13th edition of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention which will be organized by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA), Government of India will be held on 7-9 January 2015 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

     The PBD Convention provides a unique platform for overseas Indians to interact among themselves and with Government of India and Governments of various states. It is a forum where the Government of India showcases investment opportunities in India and its potential in various sectors.

     Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) is expecting enthusiastic participation from Malaysia. The effort is to have meaningful and interactive event that would address the issues and concerns of overseas Indian community effectively. PBD 2015 would be a significant event as it would marks the hundredth anniversary of the return of the greatest “Pravasi” of all, Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa in 1915.

    Interested overseas Indians may block these dates in their calendar. We look forward to enthusiastic participation from Malaysian Indian community at this important annual event in India which honours their work and contributions.
