Study India Programme (SIP) of Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, The Government of India, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA), organises a Study India Programme (SIP) every year. The SIP is organized to familiarize the overseas Indian Diaspora in the age group of 18-26 years, with the art, culture, heritage, history, and social and economic development of India. Each SIP is of 4-weeks duration and is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) only, who would undergo a short-term course of 3 weeks at the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE), Pune, and 1 week field visit organized by the institute. There would be a total of 30 participants from all countries in the SIP. The SIP Application Form can be downloaded from the links given below. The duly filled-in application should be submitted by hand / by post to: The cost of boarding, lodging, local transportation and course fee during the programme will be borne by Government of India.
