	MoU on Cooperation in the field of Higher Education 20 January 2010	India - Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Higher Education Malaysia - Ministry of Higher Education	The broad objective of the MoU is to strengthen cooperation in the field of higher education between both countries. 1st Joint Working Group(JWG) meeting was held in Putrajaya on 30.9.2011. 2nd JWG meeting was held in New Delhi on 3.4.2013
	India-Malaysia Extradition Treaty 20 January 2010	India – Ministry of External Affairs Malaysia – Attorney General’s Chamber	The broad objective of the Treaty is extradite to each other persons whom the authorities have accused or convicted of an extraditable offence. The treaty has entered into force on February 13, 2011.
	Cultural Exchange Programme 27 October 2010	India - Ministry of Culture Malaysia - Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture	The broad objective of the MoU is to strengthen cultural cooperation between both countries. Cultural Exchange Program between the two countries was signed for the period 2010-13. The same is due for review during this year.
	MoU on Tourism 27 October 2010	India - Ministry of Tourism Malaysia - Ministry of Tourism	The broad objective of the MoU is to promote tourism between the two countries.
	MoU on Cooperation in the field of Traditional Systems of Medicine 27 October 2010	India - Department of AYUSH Malaysia - Ministry of Health	The broad objective of the MoU is to propagate the Indian traditional systems of Medicine in Malaysia.
	MoU on Cooperation in Information Technology & Services 27 October 2010	India - Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Malaysia - Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation	The broad objective of the MoU is to strengthen cooperation in the area of information technology and services between both countries. 1st Joint Working Group(JWG) meeting was held in Putrajaya on 12.10.2011.
	Cooperation relating to provision of Technical Assistance Services on Highway Management & Development 21 December 2010	India - Ministry of Road Transport & Highways Malaysia - Ministry of Works	The broad objective of the MoU is cooperation in the area of Roads & Highways between India and Malaysia.
	Comprehensive Economic and Cooperation Agreement(CECA) 18 February, 2011	India – Department of Commerce Malaysia - Ministry of International Trade & Industry	The broad objective of the CECA is to boost trade and investment between both countries. India-Malaysia Comprehensive Economic and Cooperation Agreement (CECA) came into force on 1.7.2011. CECA is a comprehensive Agreement covering trade in Goods, Services and Investment. It has value-added to the existing ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement(AITiGA) by subjecting more products to tariff concessions, and advancing the timelines for reduction/ elimination of tariffs. 	Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty 12 March 2012	India – Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia – Attorney General of Malaysia	The broad objective of the Treaty is to provide mutual legal assistance with investigation, prosecution and proceedings in criminal matters.
	Revised Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income 9 May 2012	India - Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance Malaysia - Ministry of Finance	The agreement pertains to issues related to taxation between both countries. The agreement has come into effect w.e.f. 1st January, 2013 (in respect of Malaysia) and 1st April 2013 (in respect of India).
	MoU on Cooperation in Renewable Energy 7 November 2012	India - Ministry of New & Renewable Energy Malaysia - Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water	The broad objective of the MoU is to strengthen, promote and develop renewable energy cooperation between the two countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
	MoU on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance on Custom Matters 13 June 2013	India – Central Board of Excise & Customs Malaysia - Royal Malaysian Customs Department	The broad objective of the MoU is to promote communications, cooperation and assistance between the Parties on Customs matters.
	MoU on Cooperation in the field of Public Administration and Governance 25 November 2013	India – Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances Malaysia - Public Service Department	The broad objective of the MoU is to promote social and economic developments of the respective countries through joint efforts and collaboration in the field of Public Administration and Governance.
