Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of the 70th Independence Day of India at
India House on Monday, 15th August 2016

On the occasion of the 70th Independence Day of India, on Monday, 15th August 2016 a flag hoisting ceremony will be held at India House, No. 1, Lorong Duta Dua, Off Persiaran Duta, .

2. The programme for the function is as follows:

Before 8:45 hrs	:	Gathering of Indian nationals
09:00 hrs	:	Hoisting of the National Flag by H. E. Shri. T. S. Tirumurti, High Commissioner of India
09:05 hrs	:	High Commissioner to read out excerpts from the President’s Address to the Nation
09:15 hrs	:	Singing of patriotic songs, followed by refreshments in the lawn area

3. All Indian citizens are cordially invited to join us on this happy occasion.

Kindly note that Persiaran Duta has been renamed as Persiaran Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin
