Smart Cities Mission

1.        The AIBC Secretariat and FICCI / CII have been requested to organise a business forum in an ASEAN capital involving policy makers from India and public and private sectors from ASEAN Member States to disseminate information about the investment opportunities arising from India's Smart Cities initiative and investment facilitation measures put in place by Government of India for the same.

2.        In order to complement their efforts and in order to respond to the interest expressed by ASEAN member states to take part in the smart cities mission, it has been decided to share information regarding the ways and means by which a foreign country / entity can partner us in the smart cities mission.

3.        In this context, the following documents received from Smart Cities Mission Division of Ministry of Urban Development of Government of India (i) Guidelines on foreign country participation in the Smart Cities Mission (ii) Brief on Smart Cities Mission, are attached here with.
