With effect April 1, 2014 all individual nationals applying for Indian visas(including Business and Tourist) will be required to register their biometric data while submitting their visa application at the India Visa application Centre (IVAC). This will be,in addition to the existing categories of visa seekers, namely student, medical, entry visa, and employment visa, from whombiometric data is already been registered. It is advised that with effective from April 1, 2014 all Indian visa seekers would need to submit their visa application in person at IVAC and not through any third party like travel agents.

Please be advised that all visa applicants desiring emergency visa services from the High Commission will have to submit their visa applications in person at the High Commission for biometric data registration.
