Study India Programme (SIP) of Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs,
The Government of India, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA), organises a Study India Programme (SIP) every year. The SIP is organized to familiarize the overseas Indian Diaspora in the age group of 18-26 years, with the art, culture, heritage, history, and social and economic development of India. Each SIP is of 4-weeks duration and is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) only, who would undergo a short-term course of 3 weeks at the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE), Pune, and 1 week field visit organized by the institute. There would be a total of 30 participants from all countries in the SIP.

The cost of boarding, lodging, local transportation and course fee during the programme will be borne by Government of India. Also, on successful completion of the programme by the participants, up to 90% of the cost of air-ticket [economy class – direct flight] would be reimbursed to the participant.Press Release - Study India Programme
