eMigrate System for the Recruitment of Indian Workers Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs has launched the eMigrate Project for the recruitment of Indian workers across all the 17 Emigration Check Required (ECR) countries w.e.f 1st June 2015. All the Foreign Employers, who seeks to recruit Indian workers, need to register in the eMigrate system (www.emigrate.gov.in). The FEs can get registered by logging in to the emigrate website, www.emigrate.gov.in and filing the online application and uploading the required documents. Once submitted successfully, the FE gets the Foreign Employer Registration Form and has to submit this along with hard copies of the documents that they have uploaded in the system to the High Commission of India. The details of the FE is verified and approved if all the terms and conditions are met. Once approved the FE becomes a registered employer and gets a username and password. The procedure to fill the online form has been explained through videos in the Resources tab of the website (www.emigrate.gov.in). Once the FE becomes registered in the eMigrate system, the FE can apply for direct recruitment or recruitment through a Recruiting agency in India.
